Eco-Logical Travel
Safaris by Chameleon is committed to responsible, ecological travel whereby we strive to thoroughly understand each destination we visit and minimize our impact on it. To do this we employ local staff who guide our guests and share with travellers their appreciation for the natural and cultural beauties of East and Southern Africa. Our selected accommodations, mostly small scaled, carry out sustainable practices and provide travellers with information on responsible behaviour and sustainability issues at their destinations. We always look to reduce the impact of travel on the biodiversity within those protected areas we visit. Lastly, we encourage the reduction of single-use plastic waste by offering glass bottled water during transfers and refillable water bottles during safari. Our excursions and activities during the tours are selected such to promote positive environmental, economic and social impacts.
What our Clients say

OUTRIGHT AFRICA TRAVEL EXPERTISE
the chameleon team
Our experienced team is well-traveled and most of all enthusiastic about sharing their specific interest and passion for Africa with you. Please get to know them a little better below:

Nathalie Leen
Director
Nathalie, born in Belgium yet bred in Africa, purely operates on solar energy and hence could not imagine life without Africa! She especially loves the sharp contrasts for which the African sky line is famous.

Greg Monson
Director
After more than 20 years on the continent, Greg knows an awful lot about this place, it’s people and it’s wildlife! Doing VAT returns is not really his favorite thing but getting ‘out there’ and sharing this beauty with others is what makes it all worthwhile.

Benson Kabue
Tour Consultant
Benson, freshly graduated from Kenya Utalii Tourism College, joined the Chameleon team recently after a successful stint as ‘travel & tourism’ intern. Though new-ish to the industry, he is settling in well and working hard to pick up all the ropes of the trade.

Peter was born in Nanyuki, from a family of five boys where he joined DIMA College to study Tour Guiding. Peter joined the tourism business as tour driver guide in 2002 and joined us in 2009 as Airport transfer guide.
