If there’s one thing about Julius, it’s that the wild always beckons—and he never hesitates to follow. Whether it’s a quick escape to the wild or simply soaking in the sights and sounds of Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes, he seizes every opportunity to be outdoors. Peter was born in Nanyuki, from a family of five boys where he joined DIMA College to study Tour Guiding. Peter joined the tourism business as tour driver guide in 2002 and joined us in 2009 as Airport transfer guide. We can proudly say Peter is undoubtedly the friendliest person you’ll meet on arrival in Kenya! He is married with two boys and lives with his family in Nairobi. Peter loves meeting people from all over the world, teaching them about our country, people and animals. It makes him proud and happy to show case his homeland! His hobbies are football, biking and conservation and giving culture & wildlife lectures.

As a Safari Designer at Safaris by Chameleon, Benson doesn’t just plan trips—he curates experiences that leave a lasting imprint. With a deep love for the wild and an eye for detail, he crafts safaris that blend adventure, comfort, and the untamed beauty of Africa.

His heart beats for Samburu, his favorite safari destination, where the rugged landscapes and winding Ewaso Nyiro River feel like home. Benson’s journey into travel and tourism began with a golden opportunity to study at Utalii College, a stepping stone that turned his passion into a career. And when he’s not designing dream safaris? His love for music keeps him in rhythm—because every adventure deserves the perfect soundtrack!

Fresh from school, Margaret Wagaki has already made her mark at Safaris by Chameleon. With a deep love for wildlife and nature, she’s quickly earned her stripes and now supports our team in handling guests’ inquiries with a bright, cheerful spirit.

A true beach lover and an avid nature trekker, Margaret’s passion for the outdoors shines through in her work. Her love for birds is especially noticeable, always taking time to observe and appreciate the beauty of feathered friends along the way. With her upbeat energy, enthusiasm for nature, and her keen eye to details, Maggie assists in operations, and supports our safari designers in creating safaris that connect guests with the best of East Africa’s wild landscapes.

For Peter Iraki, crafting epic safaris isn’t just a job—it’s a passion driven by deep love for wildlife. A proud Nakuru native, Peter’s fascination with the wild began early, and today, he designs seamless, story-driven itineraries that bring travelers closer to East Africa’s untamed beauty. A true big cat enthusiast, he’s often caught analyzing a leopard’s stealth or a lion’s resilience—traits that inspire his approach to safari planning.

Beyond logistics, Peter believes safaris should tell a story, forging lasting connections between guests and the wild. And if he’s not designing dream safaris, you’ll find him passionately following Arsenal, because of the love for the game.

After more than 25 years on the continent, Greg knows an awful lot about this place, it’s people and it’s wildlife! Doing VAT returns is not really his favorite thing but getting ‘out there’ and sharing this beauty with others is what makes it all worthwhile. Owner of Chameleon EA and Managing Director of the celebrated Kicheche Camps, Greg is an active member of the Kenya tourist industry and sat on the Kenya Tour Operators Association Executive Committee. He is also a founding member of three Masai Community Conservancies and is currently Chairman of Olare Motorogi Conservancy. A qualified KPSGA Silver guide himself, he has sat on the KPSGA Exam Committee, and yearns to get back to the bush and go for Gold.

Nathalie, born in Belgium yet bred in Africa, purely operates on solar energy and hence could not imagine life without Africa! She especially loves the sharp contrasts for which the African sky line is famous. Breathtaking sunsets over Africa’s red soil landscapes are her favorites (except for when trying to wash the dirt out of safari clothes). A visit to the coast would have to be in Watamu, but on safari, it could be a different destination for each day of the week, depending on her moods: Mara, Lewa, Tassia, Samburu … just too many breathtaking places to choose from! Nats has no love lost for cooking but she does love anything sweet & savory, including her pets and her boys at home!
